Telepopmusik (sau Telepopmusic cum am crezut timp de jumatate de an ca se numesc ) este o formatie de dance franceza infiintata in 1997. Cei 3 componenti principali ai formatiei (puteam sa zic bandei? sau benzii? mai bine nu) sunt: Dumont, Stephan Haeri, si Christophe Hetier.

In 2003 trupa a avut norocul ca single-lul lor Breathe sa fie ales ca background sound intr-o reclama pentru Mitsubishi Outlander SUV, care i-a dus din scena dance underground direct in mainstream.

Melodia are 2 videoclipuri. Primul video, am inteles dintr-un comment de pe utube, ca este filmat in Los Angeles si in background se poate vedea oceanul. Videoclipul este despre un baiat “normal” printre niste baieti si fete “perfecti” undeva pe varful unui munte, la marginea unei piscini. Toti se simt bine acolo in afara de el, care viseaza la lanuri de porumb si metrou (city life? ). La un moment dat prinde un fluture cu o mana , lucru care enerveaza o fetita de acolo foarte tare; ea ii pune otrava in pahar in timp ce doarme, si il trezeste apoi. Mesajul probabil este ca he didn’t belong there.

Celalalt videoclip al melodiei este despre o fata care traieste singura in Paris (la un moment dat insa in videoclip apar 2 pahare de vin unul langa altul). Mesajul e ceva de genul girl living by herself, all alone and enjoying life. Mi se pare draguta si varianta asta.

Breathe (nu breath, asa cum scriam eu - ty lys ) apare pe primul lor album Genetic World (2001). Cei de la Telepopmusik au mai scos un album in (2005) numit Angel Milk. Desi are destule melodii dragute si acest album, nici una nu a reusit sa impresioneze asa cum a facut Breathe la vremea ei.

Am gasit un site despre telepopmusik pe myspace.com unde se poate asculta varianta de cd a melodiei (inclusiv prima strofa de versuri) ; de asemenea aici este si discografia lor si multe multe multe alte informatii.
